Eric Honroth Tapped to Lead AngioDynamics Following CEO Retirement

After an extensive search to fill the vacancy left by James Clemmer, medical-technology firm AngioDynamics has appointed Eric Honroth as its new president and chief executive. Honroth, formerly a top executive at Sweden’s Getinge, will formally assume his leadership duties and a seat on the board of directors on November 2.

Honroth, 55, brings significant industry experience to the Latham, New York-based company, having most recently served as the global president of life science at Getinge. His compensation package includes a base annual salary of $735,000, supplemented by an annual performance bonus targeted at 95% of his base pay.

James Clemmer, who guided the company since April 2016, will remain involved during the handover period. Following his previously announced retirement, Clemmer is transitioning into a consulting role to ensure continuity for the firm’s executive team and board.
