The partnership marks a milestone for the New York-based designer, coinciding with his brand's 15th anniversary. Drawing inspiration from the slow, deliberate distillation process of Lagavulin 16-Year-Old, Snyder worked with Scotland’s Lovat Mill to develop a bespoke tartan. This pattern, registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans, anchors the collection’s most prominent pieces, including an Italian suede stable jacket and a wool chore coat featuring the distillery's signature peat and copper tones.
Beyond technical design, the collection serves as a tribute to the people behind the spirit. The campaign, shot by photographer Boo George, features actor Ben Ahlers alongside long-time distillery staff, including warehouse legend Iain 'Pinky' McArthur. By integrating merino wool knits and classic tailoring with the visceral atmosphere of the Islay coast, the collaboration aims to capture the tactile nature of Scotch production. The items are available starting October 8, with the brands planning further in-store storytelling initiatives to highlight the heritage of the distillery.
