Dattner arrives at a pivotal time for the Macy's-owned beauty chain as it seeks to elevate its presence across both digital and physical storefronts. Her mandate involves refining the retailer's assortment by balancing established luxury houses with emerging innovators, while simultaneously enhancing the brand's signature discovery-focused shopping experience.
Her background includes seven years leading the beauty and fragrance division at Bloomingdale's, where she oversaw the reinvention of the flagship fragrance hall and the launch of new beauty concepts. CEO Alexandre Choueiri noted that her expertise in luxury retail and client-centric strategy will be instrumental in defining the next phase of the company's growth. Dattner, who has been a member of Cosmetic Executive Women since 2005, aims to leverage her experience in brand integration to foster deeper partnerships with vendors and offer more personalized beauty solutions for the company's clientele.
