Japan Wool Textile Profits Surge to 7.04 Billion Yen

A sharp rise in bottom-line earnings defines the latest performance for Japan Wool Textile Co. Ltd., which reported a net profit of 7.04 billion yen for the nine-month period ending August 31. This result marks a significant climb from the 5.55 billion yen recorded during the same interval last year.

The company’s financial health strengthened across multiple metrics throughout the nine-month stretch. Revenue reached 89.19 billion yen, showing steady growth against the 87.09 billion yen posted in 2025. This uptick in sales translated into higher core profitability, with operating profit climbing to 8.67 billion yen from 7.67 billion yen.

Pretax profit also followed the upward trend, hitting 9.73 billion yen compared to the previous year's 8.61 billion yen. Shareholders saw a direct impact from these gains, as earnings per share rose to 107.13 yen, up from 80.49 yen. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
