Bybit Adds U.S. Equities to Trading Platform

Global users of the Bybit exchange can now trade over 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs directly through their accounts. By integrating traditional equities alongside its existing digital asset offerings, the Dubai-based platform aims to consolidate diverse financial instruments into a single, unified environment for its 80 million registered users.

The expansion allows eligible users to buy and sell major stocks like Apple, NVIDIA, and Tesla using USDC. Unlike derivatives-based products, these transactions provide direct economic interest in the underlying securities. To facilitate the service, Bybit has partnered with Alpaca, a U.S.-based, self-clearing broker-dealer that handles the infrastructure for order routing, custody, and settlement.

Bybit CEO Ben Zhou stated that the move addresses the growing demand for a connected financial experience where crypto and traditional markets intersect. The service supports corporate actions, including cash dividends—which are automatically converted to USDC—and stock splits. Trading is available 24/5, covering U.S. pre-market, regular, and after-hours sessions with zero commission fees. While the platform currently provides economic exposure, it intends to introduce voting rights for shareholders in future updates.
