Constellation Cold Logistics Expands Norwegian Footprint

With the acquisition of Impruv Logistics AS, Constellation Cold Logistics adds 25,000 temperature-controlled pallet positions to its Norwegian operations. The deal strengthens the London-based company’s Nordic infrastructure, bringing its total regional capacity to 90,000 pallet positions while integrating a strategically located facility in Langangen.

The Langangen facility, which began operations in late 2025, serves as a hub for food producers and distributors across Southern Norway. By absorbing Impruv’s existing transport and warehousing network, Constellation aims to enhance its cold chain service capabilities. Jan Nielsen, Managing Director of Constellation’s Nordic division, noted that the acquisition brings both physical infrastructure and specialized industry expertise into the broader European network.

Morten Hagen Vanneviken, CEO of Impruv, stated that the partnership provides the necessary scale to support the company’s next phase of growth. Chairman Bernt Ove Søvik added that joining the larger group ensures the continued development of the logistics solutions and IT systems the firm established during its initial year of operation. Following the transaction, Constellation continues to manage a portfolio spanning ten countries with a total capacity exceeding 1.2 million pallet positions.
