York Space Systems Investors Face October 30 Deadline for Class Action

Investors who purchased York Space Systems common stock during its January 2026 IPO or throughout the following spring have until October 30, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a federal class action lawsuit, as allegations mount regarding undisclosed software failures and the subsequent loss of critical Pentagon contracts.

The lawsuit, filed in the District of Colorado under the caption Ianelli v. York Space Systems Inc., targets the firm alongside its executives and IPO underwriters. Plaintiffs contend that the company’s offering documents obscured the fact that satellite mission and payload software remained non-functional at the time of launch, creating a material risk to the firm's reliance on Space Development Agency funding. The litigation gained momentum after a May 11, 2026, report by Wolfpack Research claimed that internal software issues led the Pentagon to terminate vital Tranche 3 funding, which had previously accounted for 96% of the company's revenue.

Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP is spearheading the effort to appoint a lead plaintiff—the individual or entity with the most significant financial stake in the outcome. While the firm emphasizes that participation in any eventual recovery does not require serving as the lead plaintiff, those interested in directing the litigation are encouraged to contact attorneys Ken Dolitsky or Michael Albert before the end of October.
