Revenue for the Japanese retailer remained essentially flat at 192.88 billion yen, compared to 192.52 billion yen a year earlier. While sales volume held firm, profitability metrics took a significant hit. Operating profit slipped to 4.89 billion yen from 5.84 billion yen, and pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, falling to 5.09 billion yen from 5.97 billion yen.
Diluted earnings per share dropped to 102.10 yen, reflecting the broader contraction in earnings power compared to the 177.60 yen reported in 2025. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, highlight the mounting pressure on the company's margins during the first half of the fiscal year.
