The Japanese retailer’s financial report, prepared under national accounting standards, shows revenue climbing to 256.25 billion yen from 237.81 billion yen during the same period last year. However, this top-line growth failed to translate into bottom-line gains. Operating profit retreated to 10.82 billion yen, down from 12.70 billion yen in the prior year.
The decline proved even steeper at the pretax level, falling to 10.73 billion yen compared to 15.71 billion yen previously. Consequently, earnings per share dropped to 103.35 yen, a notable contraction from the 156.40 yen reported for the equivalent nine-month period in 2024.
