Behavior Frontiers Scales Autism Therapy Services in Sacramento

With autism now identified as the leading developmental disability in California, Behavior Frontiers is addressing a surge in demand by opening three new centers in the Sacramento region. The expansion, scheduled for completion by December, brings the organization's local footprint to five specialized clinical facilities for young children.

The rollout begins this month in Rancho Cordova at 3130 Kilgore Rd, followed by a November opening on American River Dr and a final site on Riverside Blvd in December. These locations specifically target children under age 6, providing a dedicated environment for early intervention during critical developmental phases. The company’s decision to scale follows a decade of data from the California Department of Developmental Services, which recorded a 162% increase in individuals receiving autism services.

CEO Helen Mader noted that the rapid expansion aims to reduce wait times for families seeking localized care. Each center utilizes the proprietary PrioraCare platform to monitor clinical progress in real time, allowing for rapid adjustments to individualized ABA therapy plans. The facilities are designed to address a broad spectrum of needs, ranging from social skills and communication to daily living and school readiness.

To mark the launch, the Rancho Cordova center will host a sensory-friendly Halloween event on October 24, inviting local families and pediatricians to tour the facility. The new sites currently accept most major insurance providers and Medi-Cal plans, with enrollment now open for new patients.
