This partnership marks the 29th time Mighty Auto Parts has integrated its business model directly into a multi-location dealership group. By bringing parts distribution in-house, McDonald Automotive aims to bolster its operational efficiency and create a new profit center across its diverse brand offerings, which include Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Hyundai.

Josh D'Agostino, representing Mighty Auto Parts, noted that the dealership group’s existing scale and reputation align with the company’s internal distribution goals. Chris Coxall of McDonald Automotive stated that the move provides greater control over parts logistics and long-term value for the organization. The deal follows Mighty’s broader strategy of embedding its distribution system into major dealership groups to improve inventory control and shop performance.
