The company’s adjusted earnings of $5.47 a share missed the $5.99 target set by Wall Street analysts. While cost of revenue jumped 39% to $1.72 billion, the firm benefited from a 16% boost in aggregate shipments, totaling 67.1 million tons. This volume growth was largely driven by the August acquisition of limestone supplier Lhoist North America in a deal valued at $13.5 billion.
Chief Executive Ward Nye described the initial integration as validation of the company's strategy to build a more resilient and diversified portfolio. Looking ahead, Martin Marietta raised its 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $7.75 billion to $7.85 billion. To combat ongoing inflationary pressures, the company plans to push for mid- to high-single-digit price increases on aggregates through 2027.
