Lincoln Educational Services Faces Securities Class Action Over Growth Gap

Investors in Lincoln Educational Services have until November 10, 2026, to file for lead plaintiff status in a class action lawsuit. The litigation centers on allegations that the company provided misleading growth guidance between May and August 2026, failing to disclose significant failures in its student conversion process.

The legal action, filed by Levi & Korsinsky, LLP, targets the period between May 11, 2026, and August 9, 2026. During this window, Lincoln Educational Services projected full-year student start growth of 10% to 14%. However, the company’s second-quarter results revealed that while enrollment increased by 9%, actual student starts grew by only 1%. This discrepancy signaled that enrolled students were failing to convert into active attendees, a reality that allegedly remained hidden from shareholders until the August 10 disclosure.

Following the announcement, shares of Lincoln Educational Services plummeted 24.93%, shedding $10.22 in a single trading session to close at $30.77. The complaint asserts that the company’s positive projections regarding its 2030 revenue and EBITDA objectives lacked a reasonable basis, keeping stock prices artificially inflated. Joseph E. Levi, lead attorney for the plaintiffs, maintains that the company had a clear obligation to disclose the known risks to its growth targets while the conversion issues persisted. Investors seeking to participate in the recovery process are encouraged to review their brokerage records for the specified class period.
