The acquisition of Stockbridge, which manages approximately $17 billion in fee-generating assets, complements EQT’s recent strategic push into the Middle East with a new office in Abu Dhabi. These developments arrive alongside a surge in assets under management, with total AUM reaching €354 billion for the period ending September 30, 2026.
EQT reported gross fund investments of €7 billion during the quarter, supported by the activation of its Scaleup Europe Fund and the launch of the Nexus Asia strategy. Despite seasonal fluctuations in July and August, the firm maintained consistent investment performance, with key fund valuations rising 5% over the quarter. CEO Per Franzén highlighted that the firm remains focused on driving monetization and liquidity as it enters the final months of the year, backed by a growing team that now includes 323 former Coller Capital employees.
