The company’s Elevrie non-alcoholic sparkling tea collection, Windsor Forest cotton tea bags, and its broader sparkling iced tea line earned spots in the official SIAL Innovation selection. These products were chosen for their technical originality and environmental impact, securing them a place in the dedicated SIAL Innovation Area during the event held from October 17 to 21 at Paris Nord Villepinte.
Beyond product development, Dilmah reached the final five in the Large Companies category for SIAL For Change. This recognition highlights the MJF Charitable Foundation and Dilmah Conservation, initiatives that divert 15% of the company's pre-tax profits toward community welfare and environmental protection. Dilhan C. Fernando, Chairman of Dilmah, stated that the selection validates a four-decade philosophy merging commercial innovation with nature preservation. Out of 226 initial global entries, only five large enterprises were named finalists. The final winners will be revealed during the official awards ceremonies on October 17 and 18.
