The company’s flagship FG390 5G-Advanced module now includes support for the Upper 6 GHz spectrum, marking a significant technical shift for fixed wireless access. Powered by the MediaTek T930 platform, the new FG390-MEA-30 model enables sophisticated coordination between Upper 6 GHz and Sub-6 GHz bands. This hardware has already earned industry recognition, securing a nomination for the Network X Awards 2026 Best Indoor Connectivity Solution, specifically for its PC1 high-power capability.

Beyond specialized broadband, Fibocom is pushing into lighter device categories with its 5G RedCap MiFi PCBA, now entering small-scale commercial deployment. For more complex industrial needs, the SC153 5G smart module integrates computing and multimedia functions on the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-4390 platform, targeting payment terminals and handheld devices. Shining Xu, Senior Vice President at Fibocom, emphasized that the firm is collaborating with European partners to accelerate network upgrades by embedding edge computing directly into connected hardware.
