The monetary policy committee reached a unanimous decision, aligning with forecasts from 14 economists. Officials expressed a cautious outlook, noting that while the domestic economy is gaining momentum, overall growth still lags behind its full potential. The central bank raised its 2026 growth forecast to 2.4% from 2.3%, and nudged its 2027 projection up to 2.1% from 1.8%. Conversely, inflation expectations for those periods were revised downward to 2.1% and 1.3%, respectively.
