The company’s quarterly revenue comfortably surpassed the $2.16 billion forecast by analysts, marking a significant jump from the $1.39 billion reported in the same period last year. Net income reached $114 million, or $1 per share, while adjusted earnings of $1.50 per share beat expectations of $1.42. This momentum is reflected in the company's order backlog, which expanded by $802 million to hit $7 billion, supported by a 53% increase in new bookings.
Management adjusted its fiscal year expectations, lifting the lower end of its sales target to $8 billion. Chief Executive Simon Meester noted that the company is moving forward with the separation of its Aerials segment, shifting from initial evaluations to active engagement with potential strategic partners. Growth across the Materials Processing and Specialty Vehicles divisions remains central to this optimistic outlook, providing the firm with clearer visibility as it navigates the remainder of the year.
