Shikoku Electric Profit Slumps Amid Rising Revenue

The company’s operating profit took a significant hit, dropping to 48.28 billion yen from 66.30 billion yen in 2025. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, settling at 52.75 billion yen compared to the previous year’s 66.31 billion yen. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, reflect the broader financial pressure currently facing the regional energy provider. Consequently, earnings per share for the period slid to 199.31 yen, down from 241.32 yen a year prior.
