Nippon Fine Chemical reported a net profit of 2.68 billion yen for the half-year ended September 30, marking an increase from 2.51 billion yen during the same period last year. Revenue for the six-month period reached 17.72 billion yen, a marginal improvement over the 17.50 billion yen recorded in 2025. However, operational efficiency lagged behind the previous year's figures. Operating profit fell to 2.65 billion yen from 2.98 billion yen, while pretax profit dropped to 2.85 billion yen from 3.10 billion yen. These results, calculated under Japanese accounting standards, reflect a challenging environment for the chemical manufacturer.
