Mexican Economy Sustains Momentum with Third-Quarter Growth

Industrial output rose 0.8% while the services sector saw a 1.1% increase, offsetting a minor 0.4% dip in agricultural production. This performance follows a 1.4% surge in the second quarter, a period bolstered by the unique economic lift provided by co-hosting the World Cup.

On an unadjusted basis, the economy grew 3.2% compared to the same period last year. These figures bring the cumulative growth for the first nine months of the year to 1.8%, confirming a resilient trend despite the deceleration in output speed since the mid-year peak.
