The special dividend is scheduled for payment on Nov. 25 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 16. This latest distribution brings the company’s total special dividend payouts to $59.00 per share since 2021, underscoring a consistent strategy of capital allocation beyond regular quarterly dividends.

Financial results for the third quarter reflect this momentum, with net income climbing to $282 million, or $3.40 a share, compared with $215 million, or $2.58 a share, during the same period last year. Core operating earnings reached $3.97 a share on an adjusted basis, comfortably beating the $3.80-per-share estimate projected by analysts in a FactSet poll.
