Sac's Bar Holdings Reports Flat Earnings for First Half

Sac's Bar Holdings saw its net profit slip to 853 million yen for the six months ending September 30, a marginal decline from the 860 million yen recorded in the same period last year. Despite the dip in bottom-line earnings, the Japanese firm managed to push revenue higher during the fiscal half.

Revenue for the period climbed to 25.38 billion yen, up from 24.53 billion yen a year earlier. While top-line growth remained steady, operating profit edged down to 1.35 billion yen from 1.37 billion yen. Pretax profit provided a slight offset to the broader trend, rising to 1.44 billion yen compared to 1.42 billion yen in the previous year. Earnings per share settled at 29.25 yen, down from 29.63 yen. These results were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
