Revenue for the quarter slid to 1.28 billion Canadian dollars, down from 1.53 billion in the second quarter and missing the 1.42 billion projection. Chief Executive Susan Yurkovich attributed the downturn to persistent uncertainty that shows no signs of abating.
Looking toward the end of 2026, the company expects the volatility to continue. Yurkovich pointed to a combination of softer seasonal lumber demand and sustained downward pressure in global pulp markets as the primary factors likely to constrain performance throughout the remainder of the year.
