Avient Stock Surges to 52-Week Peak Following Q3 Earnings Beat

A 13% spike in Avient shares pushed the stock to a 52-week high of $49.08 on Wednesday, as investors reacted to a third-quarter performance that outpaced revenue expectations. The specialty materials company reported $891.2 million in sales, comfortably clearing the $857.5 million target set by analysts.

Avient Stock Surges to 52-Week Peak Following Q3 Earnings Beat

Growth across the packaging, healthcare, and building sectors fueled the revenue climb, marking a significant improvement over the $806.5 million recorded during the same period last year. While GAAP earnings of 46 cents per share fell short of market projections, the company’s adjusted earnings reached 86 cents per share, surpassing the anticipated 80 cents.

Bolstered by these results, Avient upwardly revised its 2026 outlook. The firm now projects adjusted earnings between $3.22 and $3.32 per share, lifting the bottom end of its previous forecast. Looking ahead, management intends to allocate excess cash toward a dual strategy of reducing debt and executing opportunistic share repurchases.
