Under the terms of the extension, Bora will continue to utilize its Mississauga, Ontario facility to produce a significant portion of GSK’s portfolio. The scope of the partnership has also widened, providing GSK with manufacturing capacity at Bora’s newest site in Maple Grove, Minnesota, which specializes in oral solid dose medications.

Expanding Operational Scale

Since the initial 2020 agreement, the Mississauga site has evolved from a dedicated GSK hub into a diversified technical center. The facility currently supports 32 different clients and has successfully advanced 61 individual products through its pipeline. This operational growth is underscored by the completion of more than 400 project and development batches over the last four years.

The partnership renewal highlights a growing trend of pharmaceutical production stability within the North American market. Bora Pharmaceuticals, founded in 2007, has positioned itself as a key contract development and manufacturing organization by scaling its technical capabilities to meet the high-volume demands of global leaders like GSK.
