According to April Milner, Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Move Management, the initiative acknowledges that relocating as an older adult involves unique health considerations and the difficult task of sorting through a lifetime of possessions.
To standardize this support across its network of over 300 independent moving companies, Wheaton has implemented a service model centered on direct accountability. Every client is assigned a single move coordinator to manage the process, ensuring proactive communication from the initial estimate through the final walkthrough. By providing detailed shipment inventories and flexible scheduling, the company aims to replace the uncertainty of long-distance moves with a structured, transparent process for aging populations.
