A quarter-century partnership enters a new chapter as MDA Space clinches a contract renewal with the U.S. Air Force. MDA Space Secures $43 Million U.S. Air Force Software Contract

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity agreement runs through June 2031. While the total ceiling is set at $43 million, the initial funding obligation for fiscal 2026 accounts for approximately $4.7 million. This sustainment work covers help desk services and the ongoing evolution of the software platform.

For the U.S. Department of Defense, the renewal ensures that aviation procedures remain compliant with shifting regulatory demands and modern cybersecurity standards. The long-standing relationship between 49North and the military remains a critical component in managing these complex operational requirements.
