O'Brien joins the organization with a career defined by large-scale nonprofit growth and strategic marketing. During her tenure at Make-A-Wish America, she spearheaded the nonprofit’s first global integrated campaign, which generated measurable increases in both revenue and public engagement. Her background also includes a leadership role as National Marketing Director at the Wounded Warrior Project, where she managed marketing centers of excellence and expanded national fundraising initiatives for post-9/11 veterans. Beyond the nonprofit sector, her experience spans over a decade in global sports marketing, including work on eight Olympic Games.
Regan Huneycutt, Chief Revenue Officer at Operation Homefront, noted that O'Brien’s track record in driving innovative campaigns makes her a vital asset as the organization seeks to deepen its impact. O'Brien, a Providence College graduate, expressed her intent to leverage this transition to ensure more military families gain access to the resources required to thrive in their post-service lives. She officially steps into the role as the organization continues to prioritize its financial assistance and housing services for the military community.
