The expansion follows a successful entry into Germany earlier this April and builds on the strong momentum of a $4 million Japanese crowdfunding campaign. By integrating its products into physical retail locations, Rokid aims to simplify the process of obtaining prescription lens support for its hardware. The Rokid Glasses, equipped with real-time translation for 89 languages and visual search capabilities, retail for €799, while the displayless Ai Glasses Neo are priced at €449.
Beyond the partnership with Krys, the company is scaling its digital footprint across France. Consumers will soon find the devices stocked at major online retailers including Fnac, Darty, and Cidiscou, with Boulanger set to join the distribution network shortly. General Manager Zoro Shao noted that the reception at VivaTech underscores a shift in how industry leaders view wearable hardware, transitioning from niche innovation to a functional daily tool.
