As companies move through rapid growth phases, securing insurance often becomes a bottleneck for hiring and customer acquisition. By embedding Corgi’s digital platform into its service ecosystem, Silicon Valley Bank hopes to simplify these requirements. The collaboration focuses on delivering underwriting tailored specifically to sectors like SaaS, fintech, and healthcare, where traditional policies often fall short of modern operational needs.

Nick Christian, head of national fintech and specialty finance at Silicon Valley Bank, noted that founders require financial tools that move at the speed of their business. According to Corgi CEO Nico Laqua, the integration allows entrepreneurs to bypass the trade-off between rapid scaling and maintaining proper protection. The offering includes AI-driven applications and pricing models designed to provide coverage from a single carrier, effectively centralizing risk management for high-growth firms.
