A total of 2,906 students will receive financial aid for the 2026-27 academic year, marking the largest single-year investment in the 64-year history of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. This record-breaking allocation underscores a sustained expansion in support for the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen. Beyond the raw dollar amount, the foundation's initiatives are yielding measurable academic outcomes. Recipients of these grants currently maintain a 91% graduation rate, significantly outpacing the national average of 54%.

Financial accessibility remains a core focus of the program, with 48% of this year's cohort identifying as first-generation college students. By providing targeted support, the foundation helps these scholars minimize debt; 63% of recipients graduate with little to no financial burden, compared to the 32% national average. Ted Probert, the organization's president and CEO, described the investment as both a responsibility and a privilege, emphasizing that the mission continues until all eligible candidates have access to the opportunities they have earned through their families' service.
