The ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr. Kgosientsho Ramokgopa alongside Envision Senior Vice President Kane Xu, drew a coalition of industry leaders and government officials. This new office functions as the primary operational center for the company’s expanding portfolio in Southern Africa, focusing on utility-scale renewable projects and grid stability.

Minister Ramokgopa framed the arrival of the global firm as a vote of confidence in the nation's capacity for sustainable industrial growth. For Envision, the move is designed to shift their strategy toward localized partnerships and on-the-ground technical support. By establishing a permanent base, the company intends to integrate its expertise in battery energy storage systems (BESS) directly into the regional supply chain, fostering local talent and addressing long-term decarbonization requirements.
