Vobile Turns Creative IP into Blockchain-Based Real-World Assets

Santa Clara-based Vobile is bridging the gap between traditional intellectual property and decentralized finance, launching a program to tokenize film, music, and digital media rights. By partnering with Finloop Financial Technology, the company aims to scale its new infrastructure to $100 million in tokenized assets across Ethereum and Stellar.

The initiative targets a rapidly evolving creator economy where independent artists increasingly rely on AI tools to produce content. By converting creative rights into compliant digital assets, Vobile intends to provide rightsholders with sophisticated methods for structuring and monetizing their portfolios. This move marks a pivot for the firm, which previously focused primarily on digital content protection and transaction services.

Yangbin Wang, Chairman and CEO of Vobile, noted that the rise of AI-driven production necessitates a more robust framework for ownership and value realization. The collaboration with Finloop facilitates this transition, establishing clear records of usage and value on-chain. This structural shift allows creators to leverage their intellectual property as liquid assets within the digital economy, effectively moving beyond traditional licensing models.
