Al Dahra Shifts Focus to Scaled Sustainability in 2025 Report

With a goal to become the world’s largest digitally enabled farming platform by 2030, Abu Dhabi-based Al Dahra has moved from foundational planning to large-scale execution. The company’s 2025 sustainability report details aggressive moves in regenerative agriculture, climate data transparency, and supply chain risk management across its global operations.

Arnoud van den Berg, Group CEO, noted that the company is now prioritizing measurable action to reduce emissions and risk across its entire value chain. A cornerstone of this shift is the adoption of the Sandy by Trinity AgTech platform, which allows for precise carbon intensity tracking per crop and hectare. This data-driven approach complements the company's expansion of regenerative practices, most notably in Romania where 76% of cultivated land now utilizes reduced tillage methods.

Operational oversight has seen a significant digital overhaul. By establishing a dedicated Sustainability Committee and leveraging new reporting systems, the firm has improved its safety metrics, including an increase in training compliance to 65% and a reduction in Lost Time Injuries. The company’s supply chain is also undergoing a transformation, marked by a fourfold increase in biofuel-powered shipping routes and the implementation of Sedex for ESG risk mapping. With a community investment of over AED 2 million in 2025, Al Dahra is now targeting a positive impact on 100,000 lives by 2030 as it scales toward a 500,000-hectare footprint.
