Greenland Mines Maps Out Technical Roadmap for Skaergaard Project

More than 15 international experts gathered in Charlotte this week to finalize the development strategy for the Skaergaard Precious and Critical Metals Project. Over three days, the Greenland Mines team and consultants from Finland, Canada, and Denmark aligned on a roadmap for the 2026 field season and beyond.

The workshop, which concluded on June 24, focused on translating decades of layered intrusion research into concrete operational plans. Specialists from GTK Mintec, SLR Consulting, and WSP Denmark reviewed the project’s geological framework alongside upcoming drilling, sampling, and geophysical programs. These sessions were designed to integrate environmental baseline studies and tailings management directly into the project's engineering foundation.

Management aims to use these technical inputs to accelerate the transition toward an Initial Assessment or Preliminary Economic Assessment. Key outcomes include a refined strategy for metallurgical test work and a coordinated framework for how geotechnical data will inform future permitting applications. By bringing together experts in mineral resources and Arctic infrastructure at this stage, the company intends to de-risk the project as it moves toward a potential exploitation license and its broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor vision.
