Cain brings extensive experience in digital transformation, having overseen IT strategy and the modernization of ERP systems for Schneider Electric across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. His background includes leadership roles at GE and Rittal Corporation, alongside service as a U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel. According to Cain, the decision to join the board stemmed from Raiven’s focus on re-imagining procurement workflows, specifically through their use of agentic AI and digital twin capabilities.
Raiven CEO Manoj Puthenveetil noted that Cain’s deep understanding of the OEM and distribution landscape is critical for the company’s next phase of growth. The startup recently secured a patent for its AI-native application layer, which manages material availability and purchasing for electrical and HVAC contractors. By replacing manual processes with automated agents, the platform aims to help contractors maintain tighter margin control and increase operational capacity.
