Kelley Frink Named Chief Operations Officer at Veterans United

After thirteen years of navigating the firm’s ascent to the nation’s top VA purchase lender, Kelley Frink has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer at Veterans United. The role marks a significant expansion of her previous duties as CFO, tasking her with unifying the company’s internal processes and resource management.

Frink, a licensed CPA who joined the Columbia-based company in 2013, previously steered its financial strategy, overseeing a period where the lender financed over $26 billion in home loans during 2025 alone. Before her tenure at Veterans United, she held positions at KPMG, Williams-Keepers, and Learfield. Her transition from the finance department to a broader operational oversight reflects the firm’s desire to leverage her long-term institutional knowledge to refine day-to-day business functions.

CEO Nate Long emphasized that the position is designed to transcend standard mortgage operations, granting Frink the scope to improve inter-departmental alignment while preserving the company’s core mission of supporting military homeownership. Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Frink maintains an active presence in the Missouri business community, including board service for the Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri. She expressed readiness for the expanded mandate, citing a commitment to maintaining the high level of service expected by veterans and their families.
