Boyd Gaming Corporation has appointed Stacia J. Andersen and George C. Roeth to its Board of Directors, bringing deep expertise from the retail and consumer goods sectors to the Las Vegas-based gaming operator. The move signals a push to leverage executive experience from major national brands within the company's leadership.

Stacia J. Andersen joins the board following a tenure as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at PetSmart LLC. Her background includes a stint as President of Abercrombie & Fitch and a two-decade career at Target Corporation. She maintains a seat on the board of Wolverine World Wide, the footwear manufacturing firm.

George C. Roeth arrives with extensive experience in the pet and garden supply industry, having previously served as CEO of Central Garden and Pet. His career history features 27 years at The Clorox Company, where he rose to co-Chief Operating Officer. Roeth currently operates as the Lead Director of Oil-Dri Corporation of America and acts as an Executive Advisor to the private investment firm Gryphon Investors Inc.
