The space is designed to emphasize communal dining, mirroring the social nature of Indian food culture. His arrival adds a high-profile name to a complex that already features a broad mix of hospitality and retail brands.

Beyond Nayak’s restaurant, the Yard is finalizing a major expansion of the region’s tasting room scene. Walla Walla Vintners, a veteran producer with over three decades of history, is opening its first satellite location at the site. Proprietor Scott Haladay cited the area's growing reputation as a primary driver for the expansion. The development, which sits adjacent to the Sammamish River Trail, is now nearly complete, complementing the existing SOMM Hotel & Spa and the nearby River Run residential community. With a full lineup of retailers ranging from artisanal candle makers to specialized boutiques, the project aims to serve as a comprehensive destination for both local residents and visitors.
