Mölnlycke Expands U.S. Portfolio with Three Wound Care Innovations

Facing mounting pressure in clinical environments, Swedish MedTech firm Mölnlycke Health Care has introduced three specialized products to the U.S. market this year. The launch aims to streamline care delivery and support professionals by addressing chronic wound management, patient repositioning, and compression therapy needs across acute and outpatient settings.

The expansion includes the Granudacyn Wound Wash Solution, a biocompatible cleanser designed to simplify wound preparation without causing cellular toxicity. Alongside this, the company has released the Tortoise Lite Turning and Positioning System, an ergonomic tool built to reduce physical strain on caregivers while maintaining consistent pressure relief for patients. The final addition, the Mepi Press 2 and Mepi Press Lite Compression System, offers a multi-layer approach to treating venous disease and edema.

Craig Kennedy, Vice President of Commercial Wound Care for the Americas, noted that these additions are designed to elevate standards of care by providing clinicians with intuitive, reliable tools. By integrating these products into existing protocols, Mölnlycke aims to improve patient outcomes while mitigating the workforce constraints currently challenging the American healthcare sector. The new solutions are now available through the company’s direct U.S. channels and authorized distribution partners.
