Co-hosted by a coalition of over 30 institutions including Ant Group, NVIDIA, and Peking University, the event targets the integration of large language models into the financial sector. Participants are divided into two distinct categories: a Challenge Group focused on algorithm-based problem solving using authentic fintech data, and a Startup Group aimed at developing scalable business applications. Beyond cash prizes, the competition offers finalists access to ten venture capital partners and a potential 30 million RMB in credit support.

Academician Zheng Weimin and President Liu Yuanchun oversee a judging panel of 50 international experts tasked with evaluating entries based on practical utility. Yin Jun, CTO of the Wealth & Insurance Business Group at Ant Group, emphasizes that the competition functions as a sandbox for testing AI under genuine industry constraints. Since its 2023 inception, the event has grown into a major hub for financial technology talent, drawing nearly 50,000 participants from hundreds of universities and firms globally.
