Ovid Therapeutics Reorganizes Executive Suite

Carter, formerly the senior vice president of finance and financial planning, moves into the CFO position to succeed Jeffrey Rona. Rona will transition to an advisory role, maintaining his connection to the firm through 2027. Alongside this transition, the company recruited Kevin Norrett as chief business officer. Norrett brings experience from his previous tenure at Soleno Therapeutics, as well as executive roles at Codexis, Sierra Oncology, and Angion Biomedica.

The New York-based developer also finalized changes to its research and strategy arms. Eliseo Salinas, who previously served as an advisor, has been appointed as permanent executive research and development advisor. Victoria Fort, previously senior vice president of corporate affairs and strategy, moves into the newly defined role of chief strategy officer. In this capacity, she will oversee enterprise strategy, investor relations, and company-wide growth initiatives.
