Since the collaboration launched in 2024, the initiative has directly served nearly 1,100 students. Data from the first two years highlights significant academic progress, with 83% of tested participants showing growth in reading and 79% improving in math. These programs include the Center for Excellence and the Arthur Ashe Children’s Program, which focus on fostering resilience and confidence both on and off the court.

This extension aligns with WTEF’s strategic goal of serving more than 1,000 students tuition-free by 2031. Beyond classroom and court time, the partnership facilitates cultural exchange, including the Global Internship Exchange Program that connects D.C. alumni with students from the UAE. By integrating career-connected opportunities and mentorship, the organization intends to scale its reach into additional neighborhoods, ensuring that local youth have access to resources that would otherwise remain out of reach.
