The acquisition of Moduleus serves as a pivot point for the company, moving it beyond its traditional focus on acoustic technology into the broader market for integrated OEM ultrasound subsystems. By folding Moduleus, TransducerWorks, and Vermon NDT under the Vermon Group umbrella, the organization now offers a single-point partnership for OEMs, streamlining the transition from initial transducer design to full-scale industrial production.
Simultaneously, the new 30,000-square-foot facility in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, marks a significant scaling of the firm’s U.S. footprint. The site, which houses ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms alongside an integrated machine shop, effectively triples the company's regional production capacity. With a workforce exceeding 600 employees and a deep bench of 130 R&D specialists, the group aims to cut development cycles for medical and industrial clients by leveraging this expanded technical synergy across its European and American operations.
