Marsh Lifts Quarterly Dividend Payout to 99 Cents

Shareholders of New York-based professional services firm Marsh are set for a pay increase, as the board of directors authorized a 10% hike to the company's quarterly dividend. This new dividend rate translates to an annual distribution of $3.96 per share. Based on Wednesday’s closing price of $179.22, the move bumps the stock's annual yield to 2.2%, up from the previous 2% mark. The company confirmed the funds will reach shareholders of record as of July 23, with payments scheduled for distribution on August 14.
