Starting at $24,950, the Slate truck is designed to be modified, and these new wraps represent the first time the brand has incorporated an external design palette. Owners can choose from Cerulean, Fern, Jersey Tomato, Razzmatazz, or the fan-favorite Dandelion. Each wrap is sold as a starter pack that includes matching decals, a key fob cap, and a clip-on dashboard accessory known as a Slatelet.
Ben Whitla, head of brand and marketing at Slate, noted that the collaboration aims to provide drivers with an accessible way to customize their vehicles repeatedly over time. For Crayola, the move marks its first foray into the automotive sector. Anna Roca, head of global partnerships, emphasized that the collaboration aligns with the company’s long-standing mission of promoting individual creativity. Those interested can preorder their vehicles for $300, with the customization packs available via the company’s digital marketplace for $1,549.99. Assembly for the trucks takes place at the company's factory in Warsaw, Indiana, with initial deliveries slated for the fourth quarter of 2026.
