Beacon Global Strategies Expands into Energy Security Advisory

Energy security now sits at the center of the national security agenda, prompting Washington-based advisory firm Beacon Global Strategies to launch a dedicated Energy Practice. The firm has appointed Clayton Seigle, a veteran analyst with over 26 years of experience, to lead this new initiative as Managing Director.

The new practice aims to assist companies navigating the volatile intersection of global energy markets, shifting supply chains, and the weaponization of energy as a geopolitical tool. As demand for AI-driven infrastructure surges and competition for critical minerals intensifies, BGS intends to bridge the gap between energy market intelligence and U.S. government policy.

Clayton Seigle joins the firm following his tenure as a Senior Fellow and James R. Schlesinger Chair in Energy and Geopolitics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His background includes advising officials across the White House and the Departments of Treasury, Energy, and State, as well as leadership roles at Rapidan Energy Group, Vortexa, and IHS Markit. According to BGS Managing Director Michael Allen, Seigle’s expertise provides the firm with the necessary depth to counsel clients on both market-based and policy-driven challenges. Seigle holds degrees from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the University of Texas at Austin.
