Cyolo Expands Security Platform to Cover Machine-to-Machine Connections

Industrial organizations facing a surge in AI-driven cyberattacks now have a new tool to contain threats. Cyolo today launched its CPS Segmentation platform, extending its secure access technology beyond human users to govern machine-to-machine communications across critical infrastructure without requiring costly or risky network overhauls.

For years, the complexity of traditional network segmentation kept industrial operators from securing their most sensitive assets. Many firms opted for detection-and-response strategies instead, fearing that manual network redesigns would trigger the very downtime they were trying to prevent. Cyolo’s latest offering aims to bypass these hurdles by providing a risk-based approach to microsegmentation that fits within existing operational environments.

The system enables organizations to discover hidden assets, map communication flows, and simulate policy enforcement before going live. By identifying connectivity risks and intelligent groupings, operators can limit lateral movement within a network and reduce the overall blast radius of a potential breach. This capability addresses a fundamental shift in the threat landscape, where AI-enabled attacks move faster than traditional, reactive security measures can track.

Almog Apirion, CEO and co-founder of Cyolo, noted that the company’s mission is to secure the connections that keep essential services running. By applying OT-native security principles to machine-to-machine traffic, the platform aims to provide a unified foundation for protecting data and physical systems alike. The tool is designed to work alongside Cyolo’s existing suite of remote access, identity security, and malware detection features, allowing for a consolidated approach to Zero Trust architecture.
