Hint Health Consolidates Independent Practice Management Tools

San Francisco-based Hint Health is centralizing its suite of clinical and operational tools into a single, unified platform. By integrating practice management, billing, and clinical workflows into one application, the company aims to eliminate the need for independent practices to patch together disparate software systems for daily operations.

The platform update introduces a modular plan structure—Launch, Pro, and Scale—that allows practice owners to toggle specific features on or off. For instance, clinics that prefer their existing electronic medical record (EMR) system can disable Hint’s native EMR tools while continuing to utilize the platform for billing and membership management. This flexibility accommodates various business models, ranging from concierge to hybrid care.

Alongside the structural changes, Hint has launched a secure messaging feature, Hint Chat, and a dedicated iOS application for clinicians. These additions are designed to keep patient communication and core administrative tasks within a single workflow. CEO Zak Holdsworth stated that the initiative is intended to simplify the technology stack required to deliver care, ensuring that clinical and operational needs are met in one environment. Existing customers will transition to the new plan structure without immediate changes to their current pricing or service agreements.
